Red Alert (or at least yellow-blue alert): Emre has signed with Fenerbahce!!!!!

The Turkish media have declared that Galatasaray legend “Kuchuk” Emre Belezoglu has signed a three year contract with Fenerbahce worth 5 million dollars a year.

Please say this isn’t so. I don’t care about the fact that Emre would greatly help Fenerbahce and would be a leading star in Turkey. I care about the fact that Emre has screamed up and down that he would never EVER play for Fenerbahce. How can you do this to us Emre?????

However at the same time, I understand that Emre wants to make money. He knows that this is the only time in his career that he can make a good sum of cash, and thus Fener’s millions again help them to buy a player whos wages Galatasaray can only dream to pay. Five million a year. He didn’t make that kind of money at Inter let alone Newcastle. At Galatasaray he only made a mere 250,000 a year.

That being said, as a Galatasaray fan, I can never look at Emre poorly. Even if it will kill me to watch him play in that accursed yellow-blue jersey and ride that car that was paid by in full with funds from the infinite vault of Fener, I will always love Emre for what he has done for us.

That being said, Emre will never be happy in Fener. Emre should be playing at Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man U, A.C Milan, not some crummy team like Fener. I wonder what the Brazilian mob will do to him.

  Fener is way better than GS, and I heard that Emre is a Fenerbahçe supporter, since he was a little kid. And let’s just see how Gaylatasaray will do in Europe They can’t even make it through the group stage lol, I’m scared it will be disastrous for the Turkish football community..

  We’ll see next year which team gets far in Europe. Fenerbahce has historically been the greatest stain in Europe. 7-0 to Benfica, 7-1 to Sigma Olomouc, zero points in the 2002/02 champions league season is pretty embarresing.

  Ezikbahce only got this far this year through sheer luck. Too bad their luck couldn’t help them when they took Galatasray’s young stars.
