Today is the darkest day in the history of Galatasaray S.K- Bayer Leverkusen 5-1 Galatasaray

By: Musab | February 21st, 2008

It’s official. The golden days are over. Galatasaray is no longer the strong European team that is used to be. You may commence with the crying.

Stadium: Bay Arena
Referees: Damir Skomina, Primoz Arhar, Marko Stancin

BAYER LEVERKUSEN: Fernandez, Haggui, Friedrich, Castro, Rolfes, Barnetta, Sarpei, Schneider(Dum), Barbarez(Schwegler), Kiessling (Gekas), Vidal
Coach: Michael Skibbe

GALATASARAY: Orkun, Barış, Emre, Servet, Volkan, Serkan (Sabri), Ayhan (Barusso), M.Topal (Lincoln), Arda, Hakan, Ümit
Coach: Karl Heinz Feldkamp

Yellow Cards: Ümit Karan, Sabri, Emre (Galatasaray), Kiessling, Schneider (Leverkusen)
Goals: Barbarez (min. 11-22), Kiessling (min.13), Haggui (min. 55), Schneider (min. 60), Barusso (min. 87)

Yup it’s official, Feldkamp is done. thank you so very much for bringing the greatest shame ever upon our team. You have done the impossible. Galatasaray used to be the “Avrupanin Fatihi”, “Conquerers of Europe”. Now….. It lost by four to Bayer.

Feldkamp, I hate your freaking guts. Why the hell would you tell Lincoln, Song, Nonda, and Barusso to all sit on the bench. Why would you ever play a squad with an average age of 23? You idiot. You’re done do you hear me? You’re done.

I never saw Galatasaray play so bad before in my life. Leverkusen literally came and attacked as they wanted. Not one challenge to stop them. Our keeper Orkun was responsible for every single goal.

I really don’t want to go back to the match. It’s the darkest stain in our long and succesful history.

Nolan: Actually im really glad that Fenerbahce, a Turkish team, was able to show the world what the Turks can do. I’m just angry that we can’t continue in our own way.

Musab, Calm down there have been similar bad nights and stop blaming Feldkampf for everything. The fact that we have a team that is top of the Super Lig and that has played most of the seaon with out the so called foreign stars would not have been possible with Gerets, Hagi or Lucescu and the lss said abut Terim the better. Yes it was bad night at the office but thats all it was. Last season Man Utd thrashed Roma 7-1 and roma re what second or thiord in the Calcio so take a pill, lie down and reflect on the fact that Brazilbahce are gonna struggle without a goalkeeper for the rest of the season…

There is no excuse for Galatasaray to play as bad as they did, especially against a European team like Leverkusen.
There is no excuse for Feldkamp playing our 20 yr olds the way he did.
There is no excuse for Feldkamp if he fails to win the league this year as a result of his terrible decisions.
