Postmatch analysis: Gaziantepspor 1:1 Galatasaray……Pathetic
By: Musab | November 5th, 2007Galatasaray Line-up: Aykut, Hasan, Song, Servet, Hakan Balta, Volkan, Arda, Bouzid, Lincoln, Nonda, Ümit Karan
Goals: 57′ Aykut (OG) 90′ Servet
That match was bull. This is without a doubt our worst match of the season. Last week against Denizlispor we had 31 shots. This week only 6. Six shots????? How can you win a match with six shots. Heres a better question: why, oh why herr Feldkamp, do you play Bouzid, a defender in the place of Linderoth, who was screaming that he was ready to play. In our 4-3-1-2 system, the central midfielder is responsible for making sure our opponents dont get past us. Well they did, and they did often.
We only brought the match to a tie in the 90th minute after Sevet Cetin scored an OBVIOUSLY offside goal. Yea I can admit it. Gaziantepspors goal was scored only through luck after the ball bounced off the left post and hit Aykut in his back, an own goal in my books.
Apparently with the score tied 0-0 three Galatasaray board members; Adnan Polat, (second in command), Adnan Sezgin, (manager of sports), and Haldun Ustunel, (no idea what he really he is but he has amazingly long hair), entered the changing rooms to have a little chat with Herr Feldkamp. When three of your clubs most influential and most powerful board members enter the changing rooms, somethings wrong.
However something even more disturbing happened in that match. Something that, when I heard it, angered me like few things can. Ill discuss another day, in another post.
Anyway, at least we’re undefeated. We’ve gotta get ready for the Helsingborg match for the UEFA cup. We’ve missed our fans, and the Ali Sami Yen hasn’t been used for quite a bit of time. (5 match ban due to last years incidents) Lets go give our boys the support they need.

I was wondering, how many foreign players is a Turkish club allowed to play at one time?
Thanks in advance,

well only six on the pitch at anyone time, but clubs are allowed to have seven in the squad. However certain clubs make their foreigners get Turkish citizenships. This is the reason why Fenerbahce has 11 foreigners on their team, almost all cheaply bought Brazilians
