Galatasaray 0-0 Gaziantepspor. This is getting serious. We need to get rid of Feldkamp right away.

By: Musab | March 31st, 2008

On Saturday Fenerbahce beat Besiktas in an Istanbul derby filled with fan violence once again. As a result, we just had to win. A win would open up the gap with Besiktas and a score of 3-0 or more would bring Galatasaray up to first place. And of course the old idiot Feldkamp had to screw everything up. For some reason he decided to play star central defender Servet Cetin in the midfield. Mind you this is a man who, while very muscular, is as slow as a pile of bricks.

Coach: Nurullah Sağlam
Yellow Cards: Emre, Sabri (G.Saray) Özgür (G.Antepspor)

I blame everything on Feldkamp. Let me list to you what Feldkamp has done wrong this year.

1. He bought players such as Bouzid and Carrusca and never played them, thus wasting our precious little money.
2. One day before the crucial Galatasaray-Besiktas match he dropped Lincoln and Hakan Sukur from the matchsquad.
3. After dropping Hakan from the squad, he decided to yell and put our living legend to shame in front of the entire squad.
4. For the next three months, Hakan and Lincoln were left out of the squad. This led to Lincoln’s decline.
5. He played Hasan Sas in a right back position, just to show him whos boss, then publically criticized his form and dropped him as well.
6. Despite Sabri’s unbelievable poor form and his consistent defiance of orders, he insisted on playing him in a position he never played before.
7. He blew a seven point lead as Besiktas caught up.
8. He claimed he was sick and left to Germany and missed 2 matches.
9. During the winter transfer period, he stated that he would not return to the helm unless more transfers were made.
9. Even though Galatasaray brought in Barusso, a midfielder, on a loan deal from Roma, Feldkamp only played him once in a right back position.
10. Once again he left to Germany for his grandson’s birthday and did not return for another three matches claiming he was sick, despite unconfirmed reports of seeing him at a restaurant in the city of Stuttgart.
11. He blew another seven point lead as Fenerbahce caught up.
12. He destroyed the morale of the entire locker room after stating that he wished he had “11 Servets”.
13. He simply stopped giving orders during matches claiming that if the players followed his post match orders, the team would do just fine.
14. Despite eliminating Fenerbahce from the Turkish cup, Galatasaray are currently 1-0 down on aggregate against Genclerbirligi in the semifinal of the Turkish cup.
15. After drawing with Gaziantepspor for reasons listed in the beginning, Galatasaray are now two points behind Fenerbahce.
16. And of course let’s not forget the darkest stain in Galatasaray’s history, 5-1 loss to Bayer Leverkusen.

Now of course here’s the million dollar question: Why the hell isn’t Adnan Polat telling Feldkamp to get the F*ck out of Galatasaray? According to LigTv, after the tie last week, every single member of the Galatasaray board presented a signed petition to kick Feldkamp out. And yet Mr. Polat refused to this simple favor for the team. YOu know what Adnan, you’ve only be on the job for a week, and your already messing everything up.

All I want is for Feldkamp to leave and for anyone else, ANYONE ELSE to come in his place. Just put Okan or Hakan in his place as caretaker managers. Put the damn janitor in his place. At this point im that desperate for anyone to come in and just raise the team’s morale before we lose the championship to Fenerbahce, who are looking mightily good for the title.

Feldkamp, I hate you. I hate everything you for everything you’ve done to this club. We should already be celebrating our league title. And yet our players are sick and tired of your horrific discipline and the way you’ve played around with the club.

Didn’t Feldkamp announce that he would resign and then overlook the youth teams? I thought I read that in the news some time ago. Though, you’d need to wait until the end of the season.

While not a fan of Feldkamp I think that you give him too much of a hard time. It’s clear that he should NOT be the manager of Turkey’s great club but I think that or hope that this year is a transition one. Next season I’m expecting a high caliber coach to come in and take over the reins.

Yes Jan, there is talk that he’ll be in charge of the youth system but quite frankly the fans are so tired of him that they would prefer him to go and never return.

Alex, perhaps after the Euros there will be a great reshuffling of coachs throughout Europe, maybe we’ll pick up one for ourselves as well.

Get your facts right before you start such a tirade. Gerets bought Carrusca 3 years ago. Hakan and Linoln were rightly dropped due to persistent flouting of team rules. Plus Hakan has a Shearer like cult about him, he should retire and stop hanging around the team causing coaches problems. Personally I think he has done a good job getting the team where they are despite missing Linderoth and Lincoln for a large part of the season with injury, Song at the African Cup of Nations and using a squad of young Turkish players, 2 points behind Fenerbahce despite the difference in financial resources. That is a hell of a good performance. He was always going to be a stop gap and thats what he has done stopping the rot that had developed with Gerets. Maybe Barrusa is not good enough to get in the team, the 2 games he played we lost. As for Leverkeusen grow up these things happen, just be thankful you don’t support Besiktas or AS Roma.

Gulay: Im sorry but I know that my facts are right. :)

1.Gerets brought Carrusca, but Feldkamp refused to allow him to leave to Boca Juniors despite a 6 million Euro bid. Claiming that he “had plans for him”. Great plan.
2.To take Lincoln and Hakan and yell at them in front of 20 yrs. old is sadistic.
3.Hakan dosn’t have a Shearer like cult, he has a Maradona like cult which he rightly deserves. At the age of 37 he has managed to score 8 goals and made 4 assists. Telling Hakan at this point to retire is suicide if you’ve got noone to take his place as a leader.
4.A team which has opened a 7 point lead TWICE has no right to be 2 points behind. No excuses whatsoever.
5.Barusso has unbelievable talent, however we’ll never see that talent if you play him twice both as a right back.
6.All Galatasaray fans know that Europe is our ultimate calling. The loss to Leverkusen is a direct result of Feldkamp’s inability to manage a team properly.
