    yup, Ribery, “the one that got away”. Interestingly enough he didn’t really show enough potential with us. His only goal of the season was the one shown above.

    I once saw a documentary about the Galatasaray-Fenerbahce rivalry on German TV. I just can’t remember the details anymore, but Galatasaray has some connections/ties to France/French culture right? A French college called Galatasaray? Musab can probably fill the gaps here, but it’s not the most surprising thing to see French players at Galatasaray.

    well the link between Galatasaray S.K and Galatasaray Lycee is a very long and cloudy one. Basically a couple of the students there got together to create the first real football club in Turkey.

    Its also worth noting that there haven’t really been a lot of French players at Galatasaray.
