    yup 2005 Turkish cup final

and no Fenerbahce is not the “better” or “stronger” team. They just throw money around for third class Brazilians and make a big show of it.

    Yes Musab, well explained..

    I totaly agree.

They are not a world class team claim they are.

Money doesn’t buy any CUP, like we showed them 2 years ago with a poor team.

I never knew that Ribery played for Galatasaray. Interesting! Does games against Fener bring out good displays from the Galatasary fans?

Shame you had to deal with that wank Souness :-D

Matt: Galatasaray paid 2 million for Ribery. Unfortunantly that year Galatasaray was going through very serious money issues. Ribery’s contract stated that if a single payment was not on time, he would be allowed to leave the club at his own discretion. You can guess what happened next.

CimBom-Fener matches bring the whole of Turkey to a standstill. over 4000 police officers and many members of the military Gendarme also work to control the mobs of fans. Atmoshpere at Ali Sami Yen is unbelievable. You haven’t watched a football match unless you’ve been at the Ali Sami Yen on a European night or at a derby match.

Souness is actually loved by CimBom fans due to one single act. After defeating Fenerbahce in the Turkish cup semifinals at Fener’s stadium, Souness took a Galatasaray flag and planted it right in the middle of the stadium. Instant legend.
