With his expert echnique, his ability to deliver that killer pass, and his incredible shots and free kicks, Hagi was one of the greatest players to have ever worn le sacré jaune-rouge, second only to Hakan Sukur.
Today is Hagi’s Birthday, he is 44 now. When he retired at the age of 37 he stated that “I didn’t retire because I was tired from playing football. I retired because I was tired of training for football.” Tells a lot about his work ethic. So let’s all sit back and enjoy this nice little Hagi tribute.
