Serkan Kurtulus signs on with the lions
By: Musab | September 1st, 2008It was announced today that the 18-yr. old right back Fatih Serkan Kurtulus was signed by Galatasray on a four year deal from Bursaspor. It was well known that Galatasaray was suffering from a lack of right backs (Ugur and Sabri out injured for some time) and Serkan might be what we need. What do we know about him? Not much.
Serkan is only 18 years old however many scouts and assistant manager Umit Davala all agree that he has much potential. Since we need a right back that we can get at a low price, the Galatasaray board decided to push the button and bring him over to Istanbul. We know that Serkan is a right back who loves to get forward and make long range crosses into the box. Let’s all welcome Serkan with open arms to the Ali Sami Yen.
In the mean time it was revealed that Necati Ates was loaned out to Real Sociedad and that youngsters Anil Karaer, Erhan Şentürk, Fırat Kocaoğlu and İrfan Başaran were loaned out to Ankaragücü, Diyarbakırspor, and Beylerbeyi respectively. Also Sabri Sarioglu’s contract was extended until 2012.

He cant play worse than Sabri,at least. We’ll see him in the following days.I hope his addition will cover that right-back space.
