News from the Training ground, plus Turkey’s match with Norway
By: Musab | November 16th, 2007
Today was a pretty quiet day at Galatasaray’s Florya Training fields. seeing as to how there will plenty of international call-ups. Feldkamp and his minions have decided that Marcelo Carrusca and Ismael Bouzid will be leaving us this January.
Ever since Carrusca came to us from Estudiantes, we’ve been expecting great things from him. However Marcelo never seemed to really want to do well. He never showed of that hirs, that desire to get out there and tear his opponents apart. Something tells me that one day Carrusca’s gonna be a great player at a big European club, but we’re gonna lose him anyway. Just like we lost Ribery.
As for Bouzid, Feldkamp brought him anyway. If you don’t thinks he was gonna be so good anyway, why did you bring him? Bouzid never really shone for us anyway, but he would have made a good substitute. Something tells me that Galatasaray’s financial problems are just too bad to pay his salary, however meager it may be.
In other news, Adnan Polat has traveled to Russia along with a couple of Galatasaray scouts to find new players in Russia. More on this news as it unfolds.
Finally we have one final matter to deal with. Turkey travels to Norway in a critical match to determine Turkey’s fate. As we would say in Turkish: “Devam mi, tamam mi? “Is it to continue, or is it end?” While the Turkish media has made a big deal over the fact that we must win and that Norway is reallllly cold, I have full trust in my team, and I’m sure they’ll win. Or at least they better. If they don’t, Fatih Terim will resign from his job and maybe, just maybe, he’ll return to Galatasaray.
